Guess What:This Term I did not achive my goal because we did not do them this term.

What:This Year we have done… writing,handwriting,maths,spelling,tables challenge,weekly reflection,term reflections,inquiry,music,Prodution,art and lots and lots more!!!

So What:This year I learnt my divison and that was so awesome. I found it pretty easy when I got into it.

Now What:Next year I want to focus on learning more stuff on the computer because I am in Jackie’s class and she is really digatal.

What impacted on my learning was doing the exhibition because I learnt a lot about the log house, and what it would be like working at a supermarket or working at the plaza.

Here are some learning photos.

My goals: I have achieved 3 of my goals!! I only did not achieve my personal because the horse that I ride was sick but in the holidays I can ride her again.

Now here is my year in 60 seconds:

This week we had a run through of the exhibition and I thought it went really well. We are pleased with our work but we still need to do 2 more coats of brown for the logs on the outside.

It is dark brown on the outside. The walls on the inside are white. The floor is a reddish brown. The couch is blue with a skin colour pillow and a dark pink one. The coffee table is a nice green. The book is purple. The remote is gold. The T.V. is black.

For the exhibition I will need: A lunchbox full of food, a drink bottle and a jacket with some some nice clothes on underneath.

WE learnt that taking in the offensive comments is hard and painful but sometimes is is good.

This week our goal is to begin our exhibits and information displays.

I have achieved…..Meg and I’s clay model of the log house and taking it to Freyberg High School to be fired.

I am proud of….Finishing it this early!! [because we still need to cook it for 2 days AND let it dry for a whole week AND then paint it!!!]

The hardest part was…. Whenever it broke and then had to fix it again and again because it got me all worked up and grumpy.

Next week my goal is to have our exhibit half finished / finished / …Out of the oven drying and maybe even started to have it painted.

Here is Verity Elder the art teacher at Freyberg fixing a hole in my wall.

This clay oven is at the temperature 189 degrees for starters but when it is cooking it cooks at 2,000 degrees!!!

Lily is looking at the clay oven. The clay oven is the big green thing in the background.

Verity unlocks the door… Ahhhhh!! the clay oven is loud!

Verity is showing us some skills for next time.
